FREE Film Screening: Donut King

Bosa? Rainbow? What's your favorite local donut shop? Did you know there's a good chance your favorite donuts can be traced back to Ted Ngoy, who came to the US as a refugee from Cambodia in 1975? He learned the trade in California and sponsored hundreds of other refugees, teaching them to make donuts and open shops, too.

Escape the heat and come watch The Donut King with us*. It will change how you see your refugee neighbors AND your favorite donuts.

*free donuts provided!

Location:Via Church (Main Auditorium) - 740 N. Power Road, Mesa, 85205

(not required, but will help us make sure we have plenty of donuts!)
