Explore refugee- and immigrant-serving organizations in Central Phoenix, and discover where you could invest your time, talents, and resources! We'll meet with leaders from the International Rescue Committee’s Welcome Center (short-term shelter for people seeking asylum) and Lutheran Social Services (local refugee-resettlement agency), touring their facilities and participating in hands-on activities. In between stops, we'll share lunch together
Participants will explore tangible opportunities to serve and get connected – whether it’s organizing a donation drive, providing meals, doing a one-time service project with your small group, practicing English, or co-sponsoring a family. Discover where you fit in!
